I don't really like Cidar but this cidar was amazing. They have a tasting tank. So happy they do because I would've never purchased. The store is homey, I purchased 2 gallons of cidar & I also purchased some maple syrup & an Apple cidar donut which was good Everything I had was fresh & natural. The store is filled with so many items to purchase even keepsakes. The people were nice if you're in the area I would recommend.

The donuts were good. The breakfast sandwiches were good albeit extremely small for the price. It was so insanely packed. I was honestly in disbelief and truly underestimated how crowded it would be midweek in October. Overall cute, but one visit was more than enough.

Recommend: Yes! Really wanted to make it in for breakfast as it looked amazing nevertheless their lunch sandwiches were delicious as well. I highly recommend their Chicken Salad! The cafe and store are on the same parking lot so that def made parking a lot easier. We went the second week of October and it was pretty busy. Recommend you don't get there super hungry. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out to you. There is plenty of seating inside as well as outside of the cafe . You can do flight tastings and they have a sort of "gift shop" in the cafe. When you go to the "store" there are all sorts of souvenirs, as well as cider, and donuts for purchase . You can go further back into the store and see how cider is made, and get to taste it fresh. You are also able to see fresh pies being made.

Passed by this cider spot on our way back from a hike. There's a large parking lot and the store is decently sized. There is a cider tasting in the back with a video about how it's made. I thought it was super cool. The store sells a lot of different apple products as well as maple syrup. They also make their cider donuts in house. I got one and it wasn't really sweet which I appreciated. I prefer my cider donuts a little sweeter but great option for someone who doesn't want it sweet!

When planning a trip to Stowe, this is easily on almost everybody's list when you're searching for things to do in the area. Cold Hollow is technically in Waterbury on the way to Stowe. It has a large lot with plenty of parking, which makes sense with this being a popular tourist stop. Once you enter, you walk into a huge variety of personal label and locally branded items. Beyond the shop, towards the back, there is an open window view of cider being made, as well as a looped informational video and tasting tank. It was fun to be able to taste the cider before purchasing. The flavor was crisp and refreshing, and not overly sweet. Toward the front are 4 registers where you can check out/ order cider and donuts. We had to try the crushee (a cider slushee and maple creemee layered together) + cider donut combo. The presentation is awesome but you have to eat the donut quickly because it sits on top of the creemee part so the stickiness of the maple creemee may drip on your hand as it melts. There are some picnic tables out front to sit and enjoy. There's not necessarily a ton to see or do. They mostly offer some tasty cider treats and a good opportunity to get some gifts featuring local products. Still an easy stop to make that won't take up too much time from other plans for the day.

Cold Hollow Cider Mill is definitely a must visit if you come to Vermont. My husband, our little girl dog and I came for a visit this past Monday afternoon (yes this place is dog friendly). Although there were people, it wasn't too busy and it was easy to find parking. There are 2 buildings at this cider mill. The main one is their store in which you can purchase freshly made cider donuts (they truly are best when consumed warm), apple cider, apple cider frost and other delectable baked goods like cookies and pies. You can also purchase souvenirs and all kinds of cute knick knacks. You can also learn about the difference between cider and apple juice and how the process of making cider works. But most importantly, you can also try a sample of cider (as much as you want. You get to pour it in a cup and go back for refills). That cider sample we had was so refreshing, we ended up purchasing a half gallon bottle for $6. We also were able to get a free cider donut with Yelp check in (make sure you ask the employee to get you a freshly made one). In the other building across from the main store, is a restaurant that you an purchase hot food. You can also purchase a hard cider tasting at the bar, like my husband did. He paid $11 for 4. I honestly wasn't a fan of any of the hard cider (I do like hard apple cider and have only found one type that I like that is at a farm in California). I do want to mention that the paper that was given with the hard cider, it was written that if you post a photo of yourself with your hard cider on social media and tag this cider mill and use their specific hashtag (check out my photos for the information), you can get a voucher for 6 free cider donuts. Good thing I read the slip of paper. My husband did just that and ended up getting a half dozen of freshly made cider donuts (and in total we got 8 donuts for free, what a great day!). Please note that there are restrooms (which were clean and adequately stocked with the essentials) inside the main store. As for the restaurant, you can either dine inside or outside. We sat outside (covered) with our little girl.
